Kenelm House is equally wonderful with a range of highly appointed bedrooms furnished to a superior standard. You’ll have a superb private dining room, reception rooms with bars and a stunning courtyard and gardens. It’s perfect for a larger family party or even a more extensive corporate away-day or entertaining if you need to do business whilst you’re here.

All creature comforts
great and small

If we had to sum up an escape here in one word we would have to go for ‘sumptuous’. Every comfort has been considered and catered for, on top of which you’ll find a discreet layer of modern technology with remote-controlled king-size beds, remote controlled blinds, high speed wi-fi and all the expected modern-day entertainment amenities. The ‘public’ areas are plush but comfy.

We provide welcome drinks and canapés on arrival and then three meals a day (breakfast on departure day) so you don’t have to lift a finger. The food is top notch gastronomic cooking from locally sourced seasonal produce. If you have special dietary requirements, or want a special meal to celebrate an event, simply let us know.

We take enormous pride in our cellar. If you know your wines, we think you’ll be delighted with our pairings. If you don’t have that much experience, we think you’ll be amazed. In between times we have a fully stocked bar and we’ll happily concoct a cocktail or bring you a glass of fizz on the rooftop terrace.

This property is a perfect base for a stroll into the local village, or alternatively enjoy a sundowner on courtyard or roof terrace.

Around and about

The Cotswolds is the biggest area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) in England or Wales, a 25 mile by 90 mile stretch of rolling hills that takes in six different English counties. It’s a bit like spending a few days as an extra in the cast of Larkrise to Candleford meets Downton Abbey.

You won’t want to miss Sudeley Castle and Gardens – a splendid monument dating back over 1,000 years. The present structure was built in the 15th Century and is redolent with historical associations dating back to Tudor times.

How to Book

Your custom is important to us and we run a personal service, so we don’t book online – we want you to talk to us. Our clients like it better this way – most have some bespoke element to their booking and we really want to tailor your elite gourmet escape to you.

That could involve people arriving in different places at different times, different dietary requirements or allergies, sleeping arrangements or the wish to see something specific in the local area – this is your private escape and we’re here for you.
